The fact that you are not going alone is excellent. To help you get started selling on Amazon FBA and earning money, we’re giving you some helpful information today from renowned Amazon FBA specialists like Dima Kubrak, Kevin King, and Tim Jordan.

We’ll cover How to start registering as a seller on Amazon, including how to get started, choose what to offer, and launch your items, as well as some helpful pointers for being a successful Amazon seller.

Let us get going!

Register as a Seller

Once you’ve decided what you’ll sell on Amazon, you’ll need to finish the easy-to-follow Amazon seller registration process.

Go to https://services.amazon.com to get started.

When you get to the “Become an Amazon seller” part of the page, scroll down.

Locate and choose the “See Pricing -” link on the right (it’s just below the “Make Money” banner).

You can choose between a personal seller account and a business seller account.

Amazon seller programs come in two different flavors:

  • Professional

To become a “Professional salesperson,” one must sell more. No matter how many items you sell, Amazon will charge you a monthly fee of $39.99.

  • Individuals

Each item sold by an “Individual seller” is subject to a $0.99 fee. This option is worthwhile if you plan to sell fewer than 40 things per month.

It is best to register as a “professional” if you want to sell more than 40 items each month. This technique can help you save money even if you only sell as a hobby and don’t consider yourself to be a professional.

However, you should choose the individual plan if you intend to sell on a smaller scale (i.e., fewer than 40 products per month).

Click the Create a New Account option after entering your email address.

The following box will appear once you’ve decided which seller plan is best for you, asking you to enter your email address and a password for your seller account (of your choosing).

Once you’re done, select Next.

Your next screen will ask you to enter a one-time password (OTP) that was generated by Amazon and sent to the email address you provided on the previous screen. Amazon confirms the email address you provided in this manner.

Click the Create your Amazon Account button after entering the OTP in the relevant field.

  • Choose the category and location of your company

The registration process for Amazon sellers requires the following details:

Where is your company located? This is the country where your firm is located. Since Amazon will check it, this information must be accurate.

Your type of business: The following options, most of which fall under the heading of “Privately-owned,” are available for you to choose from when choosing your business entity:

  • State-owned company
  • A firm that is traded publicly
  • Privately held company
  • Charity
  • I am an individual, not a part of any organization.

Your whole name is Make sure to include your first, middle, and last names when submitting your name.

Then choose Agree and continue by clicking.

Here are the steps given below-

  • Describe how to reach you.

You will then be asked to provide Amazon with some personal data. This includes your passport or driver’s license number, which is proof of identification.

You can also be asked to provide them with your phone number. Again, this is for verification purposes.

Click Next at the bottom of the screen once you have completed all the fields.

  • Select your market (s)

Select the marketplace(s) in which you want to sell after finishing the Individual Information section. A marketplace is the domain name of an Amazon shop (e.g., Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, etc.). Click Next after making your selection.

  • Fill out the area on billing information.

Amazon now checks the accuracy of a potential seller’s credit card information as another method of confirming their identity.

You will thus be asked for the number, expiration date, and card name of one of your credit cards after choosing your marketplace(s).

Click the Next button at the bottom of the page when done.

  • Describe your product(s) and Amazon store in detail.

After your credit card information has been verified, you will be questioned briefly about your Amazon store and the products you want to sell.

You must provide answers to the following questions in order to go on to the next step of the Amazon seller registration process:

  • Name of your Amazon shop

Whether your item contains a UPC number or not (s)

If you are the maker of the goods or the proprietor of the brand connected to the item(s) you are selling

If a trademark has been registered to protect your goods (s)

After responding to those inquiries, select Next.

  • The checking of addresses

You will be asked to verify the business address you provided in step six of the verification process once you have completed all of the earlier steps (the Personal Information page).

If the address supplied is correct, after clicking the Confirm button, a new screen will appear. It says that the address you provided will get a postcard with a verification code.

To finish the verification process after getting the card, enter the given code in the Enter code below box and click Next.

You’re in after verification!

We advise you to turn on two-step verification for your account in order to stay safe (for increased security). However, all you have to do is visit https://sellercentral.amazon.com after confirming your name and business information.

Conclusion

Despite not always ensuring sales, Amazon’s massive reach offers a wealth of opportunities.

The success of Amazon’s sales depends on effective brand management, prudent financial management, and constant improvement of listings and PPC.

You’ll need to embrace strategic planning, pay attention to the little things, and uphold your corporate goals if you want to stand out in such a crowded field.

With these setup instructions, you’ll be well on your way to creating a lucrative business.

Good fortune!
