The case is not the same when it comes to online businesses. Permit me to use myself as an example. I am a content developer (writer) at one stage of my life and I was also working with a firm. They barely affected each other as I was able to discipline myself.

This is the joy of being able to do something at your convenience. Nothing beats the ability to be able to dictate the pace at which you work. Do not get me wrong, online job does not make you lazy. What it does is that it helps you avoid the stress of having to meet a set target. This is because you will be the one setting your long and short term goals.

This is usually for those who are able to notice hidden gems. If you are not someone like that, you may not be able to grow your network. The internet helps bridge the gap between people. If you are smart enough, you can keep in touch with people even when the business you both have is done. You still have to be smart about it as most individuals online prefer to be discreet.
